Aquila Images is a by-product of The Birding Shop. We have access to many thousands of terrific images and were always receiving requests to help with providing images and so we thought it'd be a great idea to post a selection to our website to enable others to buy the rights to use the images - rather than sight unseen as was the case until recently.

This web site is the result of this plan and we'd be happy for any feedback you may have to offer.

Our photographers are all dedicated scientists or field workers/volunteers and so get into the field to do their photography as they work - they're not professional photographers but many of their photos have been published in books, magazines and various other publications. Each and every photo may not be a covershot - but there are plenty of outstanding images to illustrate your product covering diverse and interesting aspects of birding and the natural environment.
