 Spotting
scopes offer higher magnification and closer viewing than is possible
with a pair of binoculars. Scopes are a worthy investment
for any serious birder and are available in a number of different
prices and sizes (such as 60 mm objective lens, 77 mm objective
lens and so on) to suit all birding applications.
When
purchasing your scope you'll need at least these three basic components:
a scope body, an eyepiece from the same manufacturer and a suitable
tripod.
Kowa

The TSN880 and TSN770 Series Large objective lens in an extremly compact body. Kowa "Prominar" Pure Fluorite Crystal (TSN883/884 and XD lenses TSN773/774) eliminate chromatic aberation. Large exit pupil provides bright image and ease of viewing. Use of magnesium alloy increases durability while reducing weight. The inner focus system decreases image movement when focusing.
